Bill Utter Ford Joins Breast Cancer Fight

One of the most insidious diseases facing women and men is breast cancer.  If detected early victims have a high rate of survival. Improving the rate of survival and searching for a cure is one of the goals of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and October 20th was the annual Race for the Cure in Plano. Bill Utter Ford in Denton joined the race by pledging make a cash donation for each new and pre-owned vehicle sold at the dealership on October 20th.

On October 24th, Bill Utter presented a check for $2,000 to the executive director of the Susan G. Komen Foundation of North Texas, Chris Packard. The check will be part of fulfilling Nancy Brinker’s promise to her sister Susan Komen “to save lives and end breast cancer forever”.  Bill Utter Ford Cares is an ongoing effort on the part of Bill Utter Ford to be an active part of finding a cure for Breast Cancer.
